It's a great relief to me that AO-40 came back to life.  So many people put so much effort and expense into it...  I know some of them, and like many amateurs, I chipped in a few bucks, too.

Working with satellites, I have seen just how scary it is to lose communications for even a minute.  You think, "Oh NO, this is it, we lost it, it's dead, what a waste."  Then it comes back, and everybody cheers, with cold chills still running through them.  Imagine how the AO-40 team must have felt.
