Don't forget the AMRAD Tom Blanchard Day celebration this coming Thursday,
September 6, 2001.

Celebrate the invention of the lathe with your friends. What could be more
appropriate?

Where would we be today with the lathe, thanks to Tom Blanchard?

Share your thoughts and ideas about the lathe with a bunch of great people.

What: Outdoor cookout and great fun. Bring a salad, side dish or desert
and some drinks.

When: The fun starts at 6:00 PM, September 6, 2001

Where: At the home of Frank Gentges, K0BRA.

Special Guest: Skip Pratt, N2FOE has agreed to make a special trip down
here from Dayton to attend this fine event.

Oh, Yes. Some LF thoughts might be exchanged too.l

Directions:

Take RT 7 West from the Beltway through Tyson's Corner and past the Dulles
Access Road.

Continue to Towlston Road (stop light) and turn right. You will know you
are nearing Towlston as signs will indicate a left turn to Wolf Trap park.

Proceed down Towlston Road to the second street on the left which is Hidden
Creek.

Turn left on Hidden Creek and proceed to the end. Turn left on Wood Glade
Drive and park in or around the Cul de Sac. Walk down the pipestem
