Vacuum Tube computer motherboard debuts

Hi,

For a leap into the future check out <http://club.aopen.com.tw> and their 
new  model "AX4B-533Tube" motherboard.

After a hearty laugh I began to think this is not just a joke.  This design 
may have some merit for serious computer DSP people.  Typical 
implementation of the sound function falls short of the S/N performance of 
the A/D chip.  With increased attention to the sound implementation details 
performance may improve.  The tube is just icing on the sound cake.
