EPROM project

My son, who sells computer and related hardware, has printers missing EPROMs to count pages. They are Microchip 24LC01, of which he has a sample already programmed. The project would be something like this:

a) reverse engineer the chip code
b) program X quantity of chips
c) make X quantity of little pc boards about postage stamp size having pins to mate with printer

Payment would be based on a setup charge plus per unit.
