Dave and friend build the new Makerbot Thing-o-Matic

if you haven't found eevblog, Dave is another real live engineer
who has gone full-time doing a great blog. he's a crazy Australian
(yes, i know that's redundant) and his motto when he gets a new
piece of equipment is

     "Don't plug it in. Take it apart!"

his tear-downs and bake-offs of test equipment are quite interesting indeed.

anyway, he got one of the newest Makerbot 3D printers and there is
a 100x time-lapse of he and his buddy building it.
