Need help with an Astron mechanical part

I own a bunch of those power supplies in many sizes, and have bought  
tons of them to use in various radio station projects, and they seem  
to use pretty much the same Volt meter.  Of course, the current ranges  
on the different sized units are different.

They appear to be standard Simpson meter movements.

Simpson does repairs, but I believe you may well be correct that they  
cannot or will not replace the spring, but maybe they will.  You  
should ask.

On the other hand, they are not expensive meters.
