The Astron schematic library contains a file that is nicely marked up. James
H. Larsen (possibly AL7FS???) used the annotation feature of Adobe Reader to
highlight the function of certain components on the schematic. It is a
compact way to explain the significance of circuits and components or to
simply highlight areas of the schematic. James used a combination of
Comments and Drawing Markups to explain the circuit. This technique is also
good for explaining computer code and block diagrams.

You need a recent version of Adobe Reader. The current version is 11.0.1.
You should see Tools Sign Comment menu items in the upper right of the
application window. You may need to select View | Tools to make the menu
items visible. Clicking on the Comment button opens a couple dozen markup
tools. NOTE: the author of the document may have prohibited annotation. If
you can't get the tools to work check File | Properties | Security to see if
annotation is permitted.
