yeah - great technique

it's clear he's done more than a few. (grin)

what I have that I use for soldering the bodies
is a resistance soldering tool. It's an old
Weller D550 soldering gun (550 watts at full roar)
with the tip replaced by a pair of 12-guage copper
wires which are tinned with silver solder on both
ends (of both wires). the business ends of the
wires are shaped like this:

the small gap gets applied to the thing that's supposed to
get hot - and it does, really good - when i hit the trigger.
