I think the revenue per square foot of newsstand has got to be a lot less than the revenue per sq. ft. of other merchandise. I know that I no longer buy technical magazines retail, esp when the price per issue is $7 or more. That being the case, I rather doubt that the magazines were bringing in in customers, especially when all the project and component info you ever wanted is on the internet.
