Tacos Digest, Vol 152, Issue 26

162.075 is a marine automatic identification system (AIS) frequency. It is
analogous to APRS for ships and boats. There are short messages with a
MMSI, location, and velocity. Less commonly there are static data messages
with MMSI, ship name, and itinerary information.
