London, UK, city of, and otherwise

A typically not-entirely-balanced article of rampant British xenophobia and religious hatred. In fact, there is significant evidence that the fire was deliberately set by Dutch agents, even though no follow-through invasion was planned.

Incidentally, to strike a blow for English pedantry, let me state categorically that no-one was hung for their supposed guilt regarding the setting of the fire. The past participle of the verb 'to hang', as in 'to hang from the neck until dead' is 'hanged', not 'hung'. Any decent journalist should know this.
