Eclipse ham prep

>From what I've been reading lately, the cell phone infrastructure is supposed to be overwhelmed during the eclipse due to everyone wanting to live stream it, etc.

Are there any plans that anyone knows about to cover 911 service during this time with ham support?  I'm going to be south of the St. Louis area during the eclipse, and I'd like to bring my radio along in case of emergency.
