<font face="Comic Sans MS">First Person View (FPV) is easy to
accomplish in the radio control world these days. Transmitters,
receivers, cameras and antennas on numerous bands are readily
available for purchase. RC aircraft move in 3D so the antenna
design must take this into consideration, so o</font>n the
aircraft's transmitter omni directional circularly polarized are
preferred. The same would be true for the aircraft's control
receiver's antenna. There is one design that kept showing up in the
ads and on the forums, I could kind of remember seeing it in a Ham
publication, but couldn't remember the name it goes by. Most of the
ads just called it a circularly polarized FPV antenna. I kept
looking until one web site used the name of the design, which I
Googled using "Skew-Planar Wheel" as the search string. I found
this site by 2 Canadian Hams
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.ve3byt.com/SkewPlanarAntenna/">http://www.ve3byt.com/SkewPlanarAntenna/</a> which is just what I was
looking for. There is enough info there to build one on any band
you choose. <br>
