Given that I am a sort of a gambler, this morning I installed
Windows 10 on the laptop that previously had Win 8.1
It took about three hours, first downloading, then churning the
disk. And, after many automatic reboots, Windows 10
was there, up and running.

The first thing I did was that of checking if all my ham programs
(Winrad, FunSDR, Argo, Spectran, Jason, TCube, etc.)
did still run.. they did, no glitches nor hassles...

Then I checked both HDSDR and Perseus. Same... everything worked as
expected.
Also Matlab, RAD Studio, Adobe Acrobat, AOMEI Backupper and many
other utilities had no problems in running
under Windows 10.

And the general impression is that the new opsys is snappier than
the previous Win 8.1

Bar unforeseen problems, Windows 10 is on my laptop to stay...
