Oh hell, it's another thing I've got to
deal with. I've got 5 machines running Win 7. I like the idea of
a test machine, but which one? I still have a XP machine which I
have for the occasional problem with certain software running on
7. It took a while to get XP to talk to the new Win 7 home
network. I've got a beautiful HP Laserjet 5000 which you have to
work hard on 7 to get it to print out 11x17 paper. They didn't
make drivers for 7 for some older stuff and it will be worse for
10 I'm sure. For quicky videos I use Windows Movie Maker and I'm
not sure if that program is useable on Win 10 as well as whether
Adobe Premier Elements will work. The Premier Elements is
a big deal as it was the first inexpensive 64 video editor and 64
bit is really needed for HD video. Oh hell, it's another bunch of
things I'll have to deal with.
I guess for general population odds likely near zero they have
disabled it. For AMRAD population I would hope that the odds are
perhaps better than even the feature is disabled. Especially given
this discussion.

I certainly plan to disable it on the one test laptop I will use
for Windows 10. But then not likely I will make it over to your
place. I also do not use Outlook, Skype, or Hotmail. And best I
can tell my Facebook account ( which I do not use on my Win10 test
laptop) is not linked to any thing.

It sure can. What do you suppose the odds are that any random
person
who comes along with a Windows 10 device will have disabled it,
even
in this relatively clueful crowd?
