I got my first taste of FPV (First Person
View) flight. I kluged some Chinese Video modules, a Sony
"Webbie" camera, monitor and my Syma X6 Quad copter. It worked
pretty well for about 7 minutes. I flew around the yard mostly by
watching the machine. It was a bit disorienting trying to fly
with the image on the monitor alone. I think I can do it with
practice, but I will have to learn in an open field. Trees try to
grab flying machines and eat them. THe picture was good till it
broke. I'm not sure if it is the TX or RX that went bad.
I seperated the Video TX as far away as I could from the RC
antenna. Those are my toes.
