<div dir="ltr">This topic has got me in a tailspin.<div><br></div><div>I was sure that AIS1 and AIS2 channels were 161.975 and 162.025,... but sure enough, I do see several articles listing the freqs as 162.075. Of course, a simple typo by someone, in a document published on the Web, can lead to all sorts of fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD).</div><div><br></div><div>The modulation technique for AIS1 and AIS2 means that it is virtually impossible to detect any audio at all. <div>I've attached a .wav file of a transmission that I'm picking up at work -
I'm receiving it on 162.075 MHz with my HDSDR setup using the FM demod
setting. It sounds digital, and has occasional longer bursts of
data. </div>
