    <p>I did finally get the new toy up and running.</p>

    <p>I needed to update my OS a bit-- which worked in-place with no

      hiccups.</p>

    <p>The errors were simply because my gplibc++ was one version too

      old.</p>

    <p>I needed to do that update anyway %^b (That turned into an

      adventure only because I needed to get my backups in order first

      and there was a lot of data there to move around. A few weeks ago

      I checked them and they were just fine... but wouldn't you know

      it-- when I checked them before the upgrade they were broken (ran

      out of space) due to some recent changes I'd been forced into. All

      good now though.)<br>

    </p>

    <p>The radio is pretty good so far... I'm not super happy about some

      of the features / user interface; but it's fairly sensitive and

      once you get used to how it works it's pretty straight forward.</p>

    <p>The web interface is not quite as good as the direct interface

      (PC App) but it does work. The only thing I noticed were a few

      audio artifacts here and there... but otherwise it seems fine for

      most uses.</p>
