The Radio Society of Great Britain has put together a source book
chronicling their experiments on LF. This sounds like the same things
AMRAD did with the Spread Spectrum Source Book. I am planning to
purchase a copy. Are others in AMRAD interested in joining me?
The E-Mail anouncing this offering is enclosed below.

The LF Experimenter's Source Book (RSGB) 2nd edition.
edited by Peter Dodd, G3LDO.
This completely revised and expanded second edition builds on the
success of the 1996 version which was bought by a substantial number
of the 73kHz special permit holders.
Now that there is a pan-European LF band at 136kHz, the opportunity
has been taken to produce a book which will make it easy for the LF
beginner to get on the air, and at the same time to provide real food
for though for the dedicated experimenter.
The LF Experimenter's Source Book brings together source material from
all over the world covering antennas, propagation, receivers,
transmitters, special modes and test equipment, and also discusses
some applications such as communication with caving enthusiasts. The
articles are written by the experimenters themselves, giving the
reader the feeling of learning direct from those at the sharp end of
development.
Not only is the book 50% bigger, it includes over 60 pages of material
which did not appear in the first edition, and several brand new
articles which have not previously been published anywhere else. This
includes several practical designs for LF transmitters.
All those interested in exploring the new frontier of the LF bands
will welcome this invaluable and unique reference, whether they intend
transmitting or are content just to receive. Anyone who bought the
first edition will want to update themselves on the very latest
techniques.
