Is there anyone in AMRAD interested in a live MIR demo at Galudet. WIth
APRS, it is all visual... the MIREX sponsors are particulary looking for
schools for the deaf.

The MIREX team is scheduling another big test using MIR as a link
between lots of schools on a few orbits. We demonstrated that with
APRS, at least 100 schools can participate each orbit and be able
to see success.
Since APRS is a very visual display, the MIREX team wants
to bring as many schools for the DEAF into the test too.
(Do you know anyone who would be interested in setting up an
APRS/MIR demo at Gallaudet University? Gallaudet is the
premier school for the deaf in the country and is located
in Wash DC.)

MIREX is collecting a list of schools that want to transmit. The
test will be in mid to late April during School hours.
With the channel being able to support up to 100 schools, virtually
anyone who goes and sets up an APRS station at a school will
probably be authorized to transmit.
