power amplifier for LF

I have now inherited from Mike a huge monster, a Heathkit audio
amplifier which we should be able to repair and get ready for LF work.
The power transformer is dead (but we could use an external switcher
power supply, they are awfully cheap these days) and so are some of the
power transistors in the output stages.

I have the schematics and instruction manuals

Who would like ot help me bring the thing back to life?
