No, that is the other AMRAD the American Radio and Research Corporation.
They were in business from about 1915 to 1930.
A good short history can be found in RADIO MANUFACTURERS OF THE 1920'S VOL 1
by Alan Douglas publeshed by Vestal Press,Ltd in 1988.
