Digital Radio Tests : IBOC

USA Digital Radio has been testing their 2kw unit on WETA-FM 90.9 lately.  You'll hear the distinct digital "buzzing sound on either side of the frequency.   The InBand-OnChannel (IBOC) solution has an apparent data rate of 128K... Time to trash our stereos?  I hope not.

Also, if you're interested in trying a cheap HDTV solution I noticed Hauppauge's WinTV(D) PCI card is now at Best Buys for $300. Claims to receive all 19 ATSC modes. No word on Linux or NT drivers however.
