at the NASA Goddard Visitors' Center in Greenbelt.
Speakers include Robin Haighton, VE3FRH, President of AMSAT-NA,
Barry Baines, WD4ASW, AMSAT Vice President Field Operations, and
Frank Bauer, AMSAT Vice President for Human Spaceflight Programs,
speaking about the ham radio operations aboard the International
Space Station.

AMSAT Vice President for Human Spaceflight Programs.
4. "Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS)
Operations Update" by Will Marchant, KC6ROL.
5. "AMSAT-NA and Headquarters Matters" by Robin Haighton, VE3FRH,
President, AMSAT-North America.
6. "AMSAT News In the Field" by Barry Baines, WD4ASW, AMSAT Vice
President for Field Operations; with an introduction to AMSAT Area
Coordinators Dan Schultz, N8FGV, and Ken Nichols, KD3VK.
7. "Clark's Scaling Laws: A.C.V.O.W.I.T.T. Build(ing) A Satellite in
Your Basement (a.k.a. AMSAT and SmallerCheaperFasterBetter)" by
Tom Clark, W3IWI, AMSAT President Emeritus.
8. "Autotracking With a $64 Radio Shack Rotator" and "PCsat" by Bob

Also at 1 p.m. students will be launching their model rockets outside
the Visitors' Center under adult supervision. That's interesting
too!
Visitors can enjoy a walking tour of the Hubble Space Telescope
Operations Control Center and the NASA Communications Center at 11 a.m.
The Educator's Resource Center will also be available for gathering
student and classroom materials.
