Are you looking to defend against a particular threat? Unix systems
in general are not too susceptible to viruses, particularly compared
to PCs and Macs. The usual mode of transmission these days is MIME
attachments, particularly visual basic stuff and macro virii... since
Word, Excel, and Powerpoint don't run on Unix, you don't have much to
worry about from that perspective.
I should caution you, though, that the default configuration of SGIs
is completely insecure, and if you put them on the Internet in that
configuration, you _will_ get owned, it's just a matter of time.
