Alchemy Semiconductor tapped specialized software from Media Excel to
serve as an integral part of the company's recent road show for
demonstrating full-frame MPEG-4 encoding technology to editors and
analysts. The demonstrations were run on Alchemy's 400-MHz, 0.5-Watt
processor chip, which scales from 266 MHz to 500 MHz with on-chip memory
controllers and Internet access peripherals.
