Howland (MITRE) will speak on IEEE 802.11b, that is the radio local area
networking technology that operates on 2400-2483.5 MHz, which overlays the
amateur 2400-2450 MHz band. Radio amateurs throughout the USA and elsewhere
are beginning to adopt and adapt 802.11b for multimedia applications. See
