Gang,

This year's ARRL/TAPR Digital Communications Conference in Hartford, CT, is
shaping up to be one of the biggest.  Twenty-six papers were submitted and
the proceedings is 248 pages!  There will be two-days of technical
presentations, four introductory seminars, one mini-seminar, and the grand
four-hour Sunday seminar on Software-Defined Radio by Matt Ettus, N2MJI.
Matt will be giving the first public demonstration of new SDR hardware he
has been working on, the USRP.

The hotel has extended the deadline for getting a the DCC room rate to Sept.
5th.  Early registration for the DCC is Sept. 1st.  Details for the DCC are
