The PIC 16F628/629 has a serial port that is almost impossible to make 
work with the Microchip published information.  This program adapts the 
fine work a good Friar who solved the problem for another Microchip 
serial port on another processor.  All I did was make the code work on 
the 628/629 family.

If you want to make a 628/629 serial port work you really want to start 
with this code.  There are many many people who will tell you that.
