Good old vacuum tubes are indeed pretty much impervious to radiation.
I used to design electronic equipment that went inside nuclear reactors,
while operating (i.e., in the presence of neutrons) and your regular,
garden variety tubes (12AX7, etc.) survived pretty well for several
minutes (depending on the flux of course).
When the reactor is not "hot", there is still usually plenty of gamma
radiation available, and yet in such an environment, tubes last a very
long time without damage.
See for instance Industrial Electronics, London, May 1966.
