Spam ? - Cedar Rapids BPL falls silent

Allient Energy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has decided to cut their BPL trial 
short and have shut down the system.

A key quote from the power company rep was "You have to find the right 
areas with the right topography with the right concentration of certain 
types of customers,".... *certain types of customers* or lack thereof?

Perhaps siting a BPL test in the midst of a nest of Collins Radio 
engineers who are also hams was not such a good idea.
