Broadband-Over-Powerline Forum Announced
The International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) recently
announced its Broadband-Over-Powerline (BPL) Forum, scheduled for July
28 - 29 in Orlando, Fla. This international event is specifically
focused for the U.S. market and will include the latest regulatory,
technical, and commercial updates. Chaired by Commissioner Charles
Davidson of the Florida Public Service Commission, this event will also
include the latest case studies as well as insights from over 22
organizations regarding the deployment BPL technology on a commercial
level.

Featured will be presentations from national and international
utilities, internet service providers, service providers, and BPL
vendors. Proposed speakers are from companies such as Cinergy Corp.,
Earthlink, Progress Energy, Hawaiian Electric, Endesa, PUC Telecom,
Ameren, Consolidated Edison, Ambient, and DS2.
