Sorry for the late notice, but if you're interested in joining us on the
first Fox Hunting (Direction Finding) exercise of the year, please see this
note from Jim Richey.

So, let's get those tape measure beams and any other direction finding
equipment out and give them some exercise.  I'll be bringing my brand-new
aussie DF radio out for its trial run.

Date:  Sat. 31 July 2004  Time:  0930 Kickoff assembly at Glyndon Park
North Parking lot - Beulah Rd. Vienna, VA.

Jim, AG4MA, will meet the participants in the parking lot and pass on any
final instructions.  Bernie, K4XY, will be set up at the Fox's Den and
have his beacon in operation on 146.565.  The group will began the search
at 1000.  I will proceed to KFC and pick up the fried chicken.
Approximately one half hour into the exercise, we will begin a series of
transmissions superimposed on the beacon frequency.  We will be passing
on information that may help you in your search.  At 1100 or depending
the progress of the exercise, we will announce the location of the Fox's
Den over the beacon frequency so you will not miss any of the meatball
subs and fried chicken!! We will also make the announcement over 146.685.
