A few of us are gearing up to do some experiments with NVIS on 40/80 
here in the
Northern Virginia +100 or 200 mile area (actually, so far, all stations 
are within about +20 miles).
There are a few web sites on NVIS around but not many books.  One I just 
came across  is
"Near Vertical Incident Skywave Communications , Theory and Validation 
"  Publsihed by WorldRadio Books. $14.00 --  Don't know if its any 
good.   Has anyone looked through this before?
