Tuesday, April 4: Peter Jobse, President of the Center for Innovative
Technology, will give a presentation about his non-profit organization
at a meeting of the National Capital Area Consultants' Network in
Vienna, VA.
Tuesday, April 4: Washington Section Administrative Committee Meeting.
Bethesda, MD.
Wednesday, April 5: The Life Members Affinity Group will host a talk on
"Dr. Feynman's Physics Lectures" by John Boghosian, a retired physicist
who had the opportunity to take a mathematical physics course with
Richard Feynman. McLean, VA.
Thursday, April 6: The previously-published location for "Millimeter and
Sub-Millimeter Wave Vacuum Electronics Sources," a presentation by Dr.
Bruce G. Danly of the Naval Research Laboratory, has been changed. The
meeting, sponsored by the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society and
the Electron Devices Society, will be at the American Center for
Physics, College Park, MD.
Wednesday, April 12: The Northern Virginia Section Administrative
Committee is meeting at a new location this year: Wickers Cafe, Tysons
Corner Holiday Inn, 1960 Chain Bridge Road, McLean, VA.
Wednesday, April 19: The Computer Society will hear a talk on "Identity
Federation in Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG)" by Kenneth Lin
and Tim Weil of Booz Allen Hamilton. Sponsored by the Computer Society.

Thursday, April 20: Charlie Garlow and David Goldstein will talk about
"Electric Vehicle Drag Races and All Other Things EV" at a joint meeting
of the Power Engineering Society and the Industry Applications Society.
Arlington, VA.
Saturday, April 22: The annual IEEE National Capital Area Awards Banquet
will be held in Rockville. Join us to recognize distinguished IEEE
members in the local area for their contributions.
Tuesday, April 25: The Electromagnetic Compatibility Society is hosting
"Tech Tour: An Applied Learning Experience for the EMC Practitioner."
Speakers include Blaise Corbett of the Naval Surface Warfare Center,
Dahlgren, VA, and others. Columbia, MD.
