The Field Service Technician coordinates with customers to determine installation requirements, installs new equipment for customers on site, upgrades, modifies and repairs existing customer equipment on site, and provides technical expertise for equipment demonstrations to potential customers.

>Qualifications
> ?     Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams with the ability to make changes and/or modifications to electronic or mechanical equipment.
>?     Knowledge of the communication process for the transfer of control commands via RS- 232/422/485.?     Experience in various RF devices for the propagation of audio, video, and data to include full working knowledge of antenna systems.
>?     Good working knowledge of point-to-point FM microwave systems, 900 MHz and UHF/VHF digital telemetry links, use and connecting of fiber optics transmission systems, remote pan/tilt cameras, and computer networks.
>?     Must have an active Secret Clearance or higher.

>Physical Requirements
> This position involves climbing of towers and tall buildings, crawling, stooping and bending.  Candidates must have the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs., as this is a regular function of this position. This position involves (6) month deployments in Iraq with rotating schedules thereafter.  While in CONUS, the position involves 50% travel.
>Salary- Base + $18,000 per month while in Iraq
