FiOS TV ?

Anyone in the Northern Virginia area (McLean / Vienna / Fairfax etc) 
currently subscribing to Verizon FiOS TV service ? If so, how about
- number of TV sets that can be connected to the feed ?
- picture quality?
- reliability ?
- the fact that upon installation of fiber-to-the-home, Verizon 
apparently removes the existing twisted pairs. Any problem with security 
alarm systems connected to a remote monitoring system ?  Is one then 
"married" to Verizon forever ?
