WWV watches

Bob,

There are watches made that use the 60 kHz LF signal to sync them. At
our distance from Boulder, they sync up well sometimes and not so well
other times depending on time of day and propagation. Its just a small
(and probably less well performing) version of the so called "atomic
clocks" you can buy to hang on the wall.

I disagreed and said that yes, something with a 1 inch antenna might at some time of the day might just get a strong enough signal to update, but that I doubt it couild update on demand, becaue there are times when the band is no good.
