Winterfest is coming folks! PASS THIS AROUND!

February 24-25, 2007 Winterfest 07 will take place at:

Northern Virginia Community College-Annandale Campus
8333 Little River Turnpike
Annandale, Virginia
Feb 24: VE Sessions beginning at 9am sharp THESE ARE AMONG THE FIRST  
VE SESSIONS IN THE COUNTRY AFTER THE FCC RULES ELIMINATING THE MORSE  
CODE REQUIREMENT GO INTO EFFECT SO BE A PART OF HISTORY! Paper  
upgrades and testing for all written tests will be available. Please  
bring all relevant CSCEs, license copies and identification. Special  
thanks to the ARRL VEC and Laurel VEC for helping to coordinate this.  
Cost of all tests is $14.00.

Feb 25:  Doors to all venues open for the general public at 0800.  
Admission is $6.00 per person. Parking is free.

150 tailgate spaces available on first come first served basis  
beginning at 0600.  Cost is $15 per space and includes admission for  
one person.

Talk-in begins at approximately 0530 on the 146.79 (- 600KHz, no  
tone) repeater.  (Thanks to NVFMA and Fairfax County ARES.)

***SPECIAL NOTICE***

Those who could not make the Saturday VE Session and require PAPER  
UPGRADES ONLY can do so in the main entrance area free of admission  
fees. $14.00 for paper upgrades does not cover admission per FCC and  
ARRL VEC policies. A separate fee only for those who wish to enter  
the main vender hall will be charged at the $6.00 rate.
