whatever Happened to the Electronics Hobbyest?

Nice editorial in Electronic Design magazine.  AMRAD is still doing this 
stuff but it is harder to do with these little surface mount parts.  At 
AMRAD we are learning how to deal with these little buggers.  I hope we 
are bucking the trend and hopefully helping to turn it around.

If you have anything to do with electronics you should get this magazine 
for its ideas.  They are quite liberal on their subscriptions.  I think 
you can get the whole magazine on line now but broadband access is needed.
