Zach Reynolds was an active ham. He hung out on the alligator net on
3898 kHz. He used a 40 kW TMC transmitter. They say the FCC came by
and had a nice conversation on how to keep it down to the 1.5 kW legal
limit. They say the plate current meter was marked at the legal limit
by the FCC fellow with a grease pencil. Apparently, no further action
ensued.
He like to live with the best of toys.
