It=92s been my experience that most jammers have not one bad habit but thre=

They took over a 220 simplex channel and bad mouthed the rest of us.=20
Seems there was a connection, when they went quiet, crap broke out on vario=
us repeaters, and when the crap stopped, and they were back on their channe=
l acting like nothing happened. Imagine if you could a jamming schedule.
If they were not busing our chops, annoying the Coast Guard was popular or =
causing havoc on some business band channel. Or trashing CB radio operators.
These guys also had other bad habits.
Five of them shared a pirate radio frequency on the FM band.=20
So on some night=92s one guy would transmit for a few hours, then the next,=
and so on.=20
Some of them were illegal drug users and talked about that.=20
One of them {A part time dispatcher for an FD} was truly anal about time.=

His stuff would start and stop on exact 5 minute intervals.=20

The key factor here was when his FD had a call, we had peace. }
We should hook up and talk some time.

ical reasons end up hanging a carrier on a frequency, and not noticing the =
fact. They can be found, talked politely to and in almost all cases shut of=
