Dr. Robert C. Hansen will give a presentation on matching electrically short antennas. Dr. Hansen was perhaps the first person to model antennas on a mainframe computer (ILLIAC circa 1953). Dr. Hansen is the author of over 100 papers and several books on electromagnetics. His newest book is Electrically Small, Superdirective, and Superconducting Antennas (2006). Dr. Hansen is a Life Fellow of the IEEE, a Fellow of the IEE, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and a registered Professional Engineer in California and England.
