I like mine, but all I used them for was wireless email until
Jack came out with the APRS app for them.  It lets you input
your position  and send and receive APRS messages.  If you want
the tactical picture, you go to FINDU, or APRS-FI or OPENAPRS to
see a map.

the OLPC.

XASTIR can also be loaded and run to make it a full APRS
application, but I have not seen a link to any details.
