Terry's Top-Ten Reasons Why This Will Work:
10. Ain't technology wonderful! It allows us to ignore physics and real
world limitations.
9. Look, there isn't anyplace better to put this service. We need 500
million cell phones in the US.
8. We didn't approve jamming, just the low probability of disastrous
interference.
7. Adjacent-channel, shmadjacent channel. Blah, Blah, Blah... you are
giving me a headache.
6. Like TV broadcasters, only the rich use GPS, they can afford to fix
it themselves.
5. We're the Federal Government, and we're here to help (us).
4. GPS, who needs GPS. Use LORAN like your fathers did. Or a
compass. The Earth's poles are changing next year anyway.
3. We need to pay for the new Health Care Plan somehow.
2. We are the FCC. We will MAKE it work.
And, the number-one reason why this will work (chant along with us):
1. It worked so well with B.P.L.!
