they may not have succeeded at shutting down the event
after it started, but they can make it very hard for
it to start again. 

as for "large venues near Dayton", I seem to remember
there being a large land-grant Ag School next door in Columbus.
I suspect it has some facilities that might be usable for
such a purpose if the right people were approached the right way.
