html bounced messages

BOB! Who would have thought we would ever agree!
I don't understand why anyone would send HTML mail to the list but
more to the point, I don't understand why the list doesn't strip it
and just post it to the list, rather than posting to to the web page.
I just don't understand it.
I am on several broadcast lists that strip HTML then just post the
message to the list.
Why cannot this list do that?
THE OTHER ALTERNATIVE WOULD BE TO JUST BOUNCE HTML MESSAGES AND LET
THE POSTER DEAL WITH THEM!
