  Thanks for that link, Phil. Makes me wonder if Hex managed to 
infiltrate a Chinese factory and replicate itself. If so that would 
explain a lot about my computer's occasional odd behavior. Someday we 
might hear:

  "We are the HEX, you will be assimilated, resistance is futile." =-O
