Yes Chip, I can read enough of it, even through the HTML tags. Of course, I
can read a couple of computer languages, even sloppy HTML. Plus, MY email
client showed my original post just fine when it came through tacos a week
ago. I didn't notice anything at all to put me on emergency HTML alert.
I'm sorry if this upsets you (not really). Like Paul, I just cut some
information from elsewhere, and sent it here. Unlike Paul, my cut-and-paste
came directly from an email post that I received, NOT directly from a web
site. If you don't like it, maybe the information would not be of interest
to you anyway.
Also like Paul's email that you complained about, your complaint is a little
on the late side. I sent the original on September 14, just about a week
ago.
I'm not about to retype whole messages just so the occasional person without
HTML viewing won't complain, especially when I don't even know whether it IS
HTML or not. I cut and pasted from what I saw as a normal, regular, vanilla
email. I did not see the "AHOY, THERE BE HTML THERE!!" sign float by.
I believe the message was of interest to AMRAD members in the DC area, as it
discussed a meeting with the HAC-DC where one of the creators/instigators of
the Raspberry Pi is coming to DC and giving a talk/demo on Sept 26 at 730PM.
To me, that certainly fits within the scope of tacos, more than some posts
that come through here.
Maybe you should enable HTML viewing on your mail client, don't use digest
mode, learn HTML, or take a chill pill.
Give it a rest. I'm tired of the negativity. Can you provide a positive
contribution to this hobby? And, THAT'S MY POINT.
