How the kite power station works

Kites are sent up to 1,500 ft in the air to be caught by strong winds. The
kites are connected to cables that are about 2,300 ft long and attached to
vehicles equipped with control and measuring technology that pull them
around on circuit rails. A generator then converts the kinetic energy of the
vehicles into electricity.
